Digital Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026

Your privacy matters to us. Whether you're browsing our website, filling out a form, or calling our office, this policy walks through what information we gather, why we gather it, and how we keep it safe.

This policy covers information collected through our website and digital communications. It doesn't apply to protected health information (PHI) collected as part of clinical care, which is covered separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

What We Collect

  • Your name, phone number, email, and mailing address, when you choose to share them
  • Details from appointment requests, inquiries, or contact forms you fill out
  • Information exchanged when you call or text our office
  • Behind-the-scenes technical data, like your IP address, browser, device, and which pages you visit
  • Data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies

Why We Collect It

  • Get back to you on appointment requests and questions
  • Keep you in the loop about our services
  • Refine and improve our website over time
  • Understand how families find and use our site
  • Stay compliant with legal requirements

Your information is never sold to third parties.

A Note on Cookies

Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to see how visitors navigate our pages and to make your time on the site a little smoother. These tools can pick up on things like which pages you visit and how you landed on our site in the first place.

Want more control? Your browser lets you adjust or block cookies, though doing so might affect how some parts of the site works for you.

If You Text With Us

Sharing your mobile number means you're okay receiving texts from us about appointments, questions, and updates from our practice. Rates from your carrier may apply, and how often we text varies based on your needs.

Changed your mind? Reply STOP anytime to opt out, or HELP if you need assistance. Either way, you'll still be able to reach us and receive care through phone or email.

Text isn't a secure way to send sensitive health information, so we'd ask you to hold off on sharing those details this way.

Regarding Children

Our website speaks to parents, caregivers, and adults exploring care for a child, not to children directly. We don't set out to collect information from kids through our site. When a form includes a child's details, it's a parent or guardian doing the submitting.

When You Leave Our Site

Our pages might occasionally link elsewhere. Once you click through, you're on someone else's site with someone else's privacy practices, so it's worth a look at their policy before sharing anything.

Sharing Your Information

Your information stays with us. We don't sell it, and we don't hand it off to outside parties for email marketing campaigns. The same goes for text message consent, that stays between you and CST Academy and isn't passed along to anyone else.

That said, there are a few circumstances where disclosure may be necessary:

  • If we're legally required to, such as responding to a subpoena or court order
  • If we believe in good faith it's needed to look into potential unlawful activity involving our website
  • If it's necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of CST Academy, our patients, or our site
  • If we need to identify someone misusing our website or violating applicable law

Keeping Your Information Safe

We take reasonable steps, administrative, technical, and physical, to protect the information you share with us. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Consent

Using this website means you're agreeing to how we collect and use your information as outlined here. We'll post any updates to this policy on this page, so it's worth checking back from time to time to stay current.

Your Choices

At any point, you're welcome to:

  • Opt out of marketing emails or messages
  • Text STOP to end SMS communications
  • Reach out with questions about how we're using your information
